TL-R5005PE-AC: the power supply is the real difference
The router hardware is close to the R5005P, but the power supply differs: the PE-AC uses 53.5V/1.6A, up to 85 W, while the R5005P uses 53.5V/1.12A, up to 60 W.
What the teardown records
The ACWiFi details should not be treated as a complete specification. They describe one sample; revisions, PCBs, firmware, and components can change between batches.
Practical reading
For the R5005PE-AC, do not substitute a nearly matching adapter. Voltage, polarity, current rating, and PoE budget must match the device. Measured router power is not the same as available PoE output.
What it does not prove
I do not infer aggregate throughput, temperature, management features, or OpenWrt support from a teardown photo or a chip name. Before buying for a HomeLab, verify the revision, included adapter, port types, firmware, and return policy. For alternative firmware, verify the boot chain, console, flash layout, and calibration partitions before writing anything.
Limits
The figures below describe the sample and conditions documented by the source; another revision or batch may differ.
